Day 1: Ljubljana

Arrival at Ljubljana Airport, reception and transfer to hotel in Ljubljana. The rest of the day at leisure. We recommend visiting Ljubljana Castle with lookout tower from which opens a wonderful view of the entire city. Overnight.

Day 2: Ljubljana-Postojna Caves-Predjama Castle-Ljubljana

Breakfast. Departure to visit the famous Postojna Caves, recognized as one of the largest and most beautiful in the world. A train ride combined with a walk allows us to observe karst phenomena such as stalactites and stalagmites. Then we will visit the Castle Predjama that hangs on the rock and resembles a fairy tale castle. The most famous owner was the knight Erasmus who lived and died in this castle. Every year a medieval tournament is organized in his honour. Back to Ljubljana.Drive back to Ljubljana. Walking tour of the old part of the town. The capital of Slovenia is an architectural gem: mixtures of baroque style with the modernist Art Nouveau and the work of the architect Jože Plečnik are the special ingredient of its charm. The town has several cultural events and impressive social and nightlife. Overnight.

Day 3: Ljubljana-Lake Bled-Lake Bohinj-Ljubljana

Breakfast. Drive to the Julian Alps. Our first stop will be the Lake Bled, where we will take a boat ride to the island with its seventeenth century church and a wishing bell. Then we will climb to the castle where we will enjoy the view of the lake and its surroundings. In the afternoon, the road will take us to Lake Bohinj, the largest in Slovenia. The area is part of Triglav National Park, famous for crystal clear waters, remnants of virgin forests and rich flora and fauna. Return to Ljubljana. Overnight.

Day 4: Ljubljana-Piran-Hrastovlje-Ljubljana

After breakfast, we will visit the town of Piran, the birthplace of the Baroque composer Giuseppe Tartini. The main square is named after him and surrounded by inspiring Venetian and Austro-Hungarian buildings, among which the composer's birth house. We will visit a museum dedicated to him and have the experience to hear his work played on the original Tatrini's violin. A stroll through the old streets will lead us to the St. George's church with a marvellous view of the cost and the Alps. Afterwards, we will stop in a wine cellar to try some local wines such as Malvasia and Refošk. stop at Hrastovlje village, known for its small church of the Holy Trinity, whose walls are covered with frescoes, among which is the famous "Dance of Death". Drive to Lipica. The Lipica stud farm is the pioneer, which started breeding Lipizzaner white horses. In 1580 the Archduke of Austria Charles II decided to buy an abandoned palace in the Kras region and to found a stud for the needs of the Viennese court. Return to Ljubljana. Overnight.

Day 5: Ljubljana

After breakfast, time at leisure until transfer to Ljubljana airport. End of our services.
